Associate Architect / Design Project Manager

Growing up in Door County with his family’s masonry and construction business, Matt witnessed his father’s respect for tradespeople as artisans and their commitment to quality. This experience fostered his passion for architecture and led him to study Architectural Drafting and Construction Technology. He now applies his background in commercial development and creative problem-solving to help clients achieve their ideal homes.

Matt loves expressing his personal style through the holistic design/build process, where his ideas come together with the expertise of the top construction managers and skilled tradespeople he gets to work with. He enjoys continuing the timeless Miller Marriott level of design and quality for the benefit of the families that live in our homes.

A competitive sailboat racer, Matt enjoys his 20-plus-year passion for the lifestyle and commitment of a team working together to harness the wind. His team has achieved multiple first-place finishes in the Chicago-Mac race, including their latest victory in 2024.
