Jwayne Gordon
Architect/Architectural Drafter
Jwayne earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture and urban planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) while gaining experience in the campus planning department as an architectural assistant. After graduating, he worked for over six years as a lead designer at Mitek, focusing on shop drawings, structural connections, and load calculations for mezzanine systems. He then became an architect and project manager at ZPD+A Architects in Chicago, managing projects from kickoff to schematic design through to producing construction documents. With experience in both commercial and residential projects, he has passed his first ARE (Architect Registration Exam) and is on his way to becoming a licensed architect.
He draws inspiration from innovative building materials and construction methods, exploring how they can shape new design approaches. With a long-standing passion for creating elaborate and timeless residential homes, he aims not only to meet but also to exceed our clients’ expectations. Seeing clients’ happiness and the final product brings Jwayne great fulfillment. He truly loves his dream job.
Outside of work, Jwayne enjoys working out, relaxing, watching movies with his family, and listening to various podcasts and TED Talks. He loves to travel, try new foods, and explore new restaurants. He also has a passion for fashion and enjoys shopping for unique shirts or pairs of shoes.
