Custom Design Yields Exciting Results

This creation process recently yielded some exciting results for one Miller Marriott client: their kitchen was chosen to film the show How Hungry Are You, which featured Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and teammate Serge Ibaka. The home, owned by Gary and Deb Mueller, was selected by the show’s sponsor, Samsung Canada, from dozens of luxury kitchens submitted for filming the popular YouTube series.

The show is comprised of cooking, conversation, and comedy. It features celebrities and sports stars being interviewed by Ibaka, known as “Mafuzzy Chef,” in a kitchen setting. The guests are then encouraged to eat an outrageous dish prepared specifically for them.

According to Mueller, the Samsung team fell in love with the open layout and clean, modern design of their kitchen. The team at Miller Marriott designed and built the Muellers’ kitchen while working with the homeowners to create their custom home. Chris Miller, owner of Miller Marriott, said, “It is exciting to have an opportunity for more people to witness the beautiful kitchen and home that our team put together for Gary and his family. We are humbled every time we’re trusted to design and build a home and are just glad that Gary and his family are enjoying theirs.”

Mueller was equally excited as Miller: “After filming, the first person I called was Chris. I told him thanks for designing such a beautiful kitchen for us. Because of you, Giannis had dinner at our house last night.”

Plans are even in the works to also film future episodes of the show in the Muellers’ kitchen, dubbed a “work of art” by Ibaka. And while not every kitchen or home designed and built by the Miller Marriott team will end up with such notoriety, our goal is that every client is just as satisfied as the Muellers.
