Who We Are
The Miller Marriott Charitable Foundation recognizes that we all carry unique, resilient stories. These experiences bind us together. With a deep sense of empathy and conviction, we invite you to join us in this vital mission to provide more support and resources for those in need.
Together, we can make meaningful changes toward a future defined by empathy, understanding, and community.
The Miller Marriott Charitable Foundation was established by the owners of Miller Marriott Construction Co. with the commitment to elevating essential awareness and financial support for the substantial needs of the local community.
By leveraging the talents and expertise of Miller Marriott Construction Co., their land development and construction firm, along with the gracious participation of trusted suppliers, vendors, and contractors, the Foundation is thrilled to introduce the first MMCF Charity Home.
Miller Marriott Construction Co. has donated the land, design services, construction management, marketing, and sales to create, market, and sell a home that stands the test of time with its beauty and quality while serving as a pathway to tangibly give back to the community.
For each Charity Home, we committed to researching and identifying local organizations with substantial needs, ensuring that the Foundation’s endeavors directly benefit the local community.
The Charity Home will serve three very important purposes:
1.
Generation of funds from the sale of the home. This substantial financial gift is a result of the generous contributions of land and the donations of supplier/vendor labor, design, and construction.
2.
Raise ongoing awareness and support for the cause through open houses, events, and activities, which will produce additional benefits for the selected charitable organization.
3.
Connect efforts with other local organizations to benefit the overall good of the community by utilizing the home for various events.

MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY
The MMCF acknowledges that the escalating prevalence and ramifications of mental illness extend far beyond the individual, deeply impacting our families, friends, and communities. Isolation, unemployment, and, tragically, suicides are peaking.
Close to our Miller Marriott hearts, suicide rates – specifically among the construction industry – are higher than the national average. At this point, we feel a personal responsibility to be leaders. The Miller Marriott Charitable Foundation endeavors to alleviate the burdens of mental illness. We are embarking on a journey of purposeful action. Through our Charity Home initiative, we are not merely constructing a physical home but cultivating a symbol of intentionality and compassion. With each nail driven, we are laying the groundwork for profound change. Every dollar raised from the Charity House signifies a step closer to extending a lifeline to those in need, illuminating the path toward healing and restoration.
Working closing with the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) at both the state and local levels, along with local mental health providers, we believe our efforts to foster awareness and generate vital funds can positively impact the mental health issues facing our local community.
